Financing

Rebuilding your credit? You're in the right place.

Late payments, a repossession, a bankruptcy, medical bills, a divorce or just a rough stretch. It happens to good people. Nobody here will judge you. We'll help you find a realistic path forward.

I can't promise an approval, and anyone who does isn't being straight with you. What I can promise is respect, honesty and a real effort on your behalf.

How I can help

A private conversation first

Text me your situation. I'll be honest about what's realistic before anything is submitted, so there are no surprises.

A range of lenders

Our finance teams work with a range of lending partners, including lenders that work with credit challenges. The lender, not the dealership, makes the decision.

A payment you can keep

The right car is one you can comfortably pay for every month. Your budget stays your budget.

What can strengthen an application

  • Recent pay stubs or other proof of steady income
  • Proof of where you live, like a utility bill
  • A down payment, if you can manage one, because it lowers the amount you borrow
  • A co-signer with established credit, if you have one (they're equally responsible for the loan)
  • A look at your own credit reports first, so you know what lenders will see
  • Choosing a vehicle that fits your budget, not the other way around

Payment history is one of the biggest factors in most credit scores. If your lender reports to the credit bureaus, paying on time every month can help your credit over time. Ask the lender whether it reports, and know that no one can promise a specific change to your score.

Be careful with anyone who guarantees approval or charges upfront fees to "fix" your credit. Those are common warning signs of a scam.

What to bring

  • Driver's license
  • Recent pay stubs or proof of income
  • Proof of residence
  • Proof of insurance
  • A list of personal references, in case a lender asks
  • Title or payoff details for your trade-in

Apply with the store

When you're ready, apply on the dealership's own finance page. Not sure which store? Text me.

These links open each dealership's own website. Applications, credit checks and credit decisions happen there, under the dealership's and lenders' terms and privacy policies.

Common questions

Can I get approved after a bankruptcy or repossession?

Some lenders do approve buyers after a bankruptcy or repossession, depending on the details and how much time has passed. Approval is never guaranteed; the lender makes the decision based on your full application.

Will you check my credit just to talk?

No. Texting me, using the chat, or sending the request form on this site doesn't check your credit. A credit check only happens when you choose to apply through a dealership's finance page, which will explain its process.

Will a co-signer help?

A co-signer with established credit can help some applications. Keep in mind that a co-signer is legally responsible for the loan if payments are missed.

Can I refinance later?

Many people look into refinancing after a period of on-time payments. Whether it makes sense depends on the lender, your credit at that time and the terms offered.
