Financing

Excellent credit? Make it count.

Strong credit gives you options. My job is to make sure you see all of them clearly and pick the one that's actually best for you, not the one that's easiest to sell.

How I can help

Manufacturer programs

Mazda, Volkswagen and Audi's own finance companies run special financing and lease programs from time to time, and strong credit is often what qualifies. I'll tell you what's current, in writing.

Compare, don't guess

Bring a pre-approval from your bank or credit union. The finance team can try to beat it. If they can't, use yours. Either way, you win.

Pay only for what you want

Service contracts, GAP and other add-ons are optional. Ask what each one costs on its own, and say no to anything you don't want.

What can strengthen an application

  • Check your credit reports for errors a few weeks before you shop
  • Do your rate shopping within a short window of time
  • Compare the APR, the length of the loan and the total cost, not just the monthly payment
  • Decide whether leasing or buying fits how many miles you drive and how long you keep cars
  • Get the out-the-door price in writing before you talk financing

What to bring

  • Driver's license
  • Proof of insurance
  • Your outside pre-approval letter, if you have one
  • Title or payoff details for your trade-in

Apply with the store

When you're ready, apply on the dealership's own finance page. Not sure which store? Text me.

These links open each dealership's own website. Applications, credit checks and credit decisions happen there, under the dealership's and lenders' terms and privacy policies.

Common questions

Will shopping for a rate hurt my credit?

According to the CFPB, shopping for the best auto loan generally has little to no impact on your credit scores, because multiple auto loan inquiries are generally counted as one if they're made within 14 to 45 days of each other.

Can I use my own bank or credit union?

Yes. You're always free to arrange your own financing. Bring your pre-approval and the store can see whether its lending partners can offer better terms.

Should I lease or buy?

It depends on how many miles you drive, how long you keep a car and how you like to budget. I'll show you both, side by side, with the terms in writing so you can decide.
